So far, the 100 Day Project has been a much needed reason to create something for myself everyday. I've been working on #100DaysofSFpatterns where I'm creating patterns inspired by San Francisco. At first I thought that the patterns were going to be very abstract (inspired by shadows and textures), but some of my favorites so far have turned out to be more literal like the lemons above, and these swans.
It's now been 10 days, and to have had my paints and brushes out every one of those days feels pretty great. Since most of my other work tends to be computer based, it's been really great to have a reason to make something physical each day.
My favorite part of the project though is seeing everyone else's work, and having some support to keep going with mine. I love looking through the hashtag and seeing what else is being created. I think it's so incredible that so far just about 50,000 things have been created which otherwise may have never been made.
I thought I would share some of my favorite projects that I've seen so far. Make sure to check them out!
