It's been a while since Rich and I have been out of the country. Even though we've done a lot of traveling within the US this year, it's time we adventure off to an unfamiliar place and let everything be brand new.
With a giant map in the hallway of our Brooklyn apartment, we spend a lot of time standing in front of it dreaming and discussing what's next. It's actually one of my favorite things about this place - every time we have friends over, the discussion naturally leads to travel. It's so cool to hear where everyone that comes over has been, and wants to go. I think every place we live from now on will have a giant map on the wall.
There sure are a lot of options of where to go next, but we've decided on Southeast Asia! Not only is it incredibly beautiful with beaches, temples, and surreal looking landscapes, it is also affordable. You can stay overnight for less than $20 and still be living it up in a cabin on the beach. Our very very loose plans as of now are:
We'll be there for about six weeks (working through some of it, but taking fewer clients during that time). We of course have a Pinterest board going of spots we'd love to see, but would love more suggestions and ideas! Have you been to Southeast Asia?
