We're currently hanging out in Dallas (sort of as a half-way point across the country where we have some close friends). We're using this time to reflect on our trip so far. Something about it has me feeling particularly minimal. Before leaving, we purged all of the unnecessary things from our apartment and then set out on an open ended journey across the country. We felt set free.
I wanted to share with you today a San Francisco friend's minimal aesthetic that I think you'll like. I know I do! Her name is Julia Kostreva, and she asked recently on her blog, "Do you feel more drawn to nest, or do you like being a free bird?". While I love designing my space and nesting, so far this year I'm particularly enjoying the free bird route. As many of you know, travel can be addicting... and not having many things to worry about back home makes it even easier to take off at a moment's notice.
Hasn't she done a great job keeping the space both minimal and inspiring? You should also check out Julia's shop of beautiful products here!
